- Objective
A Higgs factory based on electron-positron collisions will serve as a next-generation collider, enabling precise studies of the Higgs boson and electroweak interactions while exploring new physics at the TeV scale through direct searches.
Recognized as the highest-priority collider project to succeed the HL-LHC, it has been endorsed in future strategic plans in Japan, Europe, and the United States.
Japan has made significant contributions to the ILD (International Large Detector), one of the key detector concepts for the ILC. Our goal is to further develop ILD, enhancing its physics capabilities and maximizing the scientific potential of the ILC.
ILD Japan was established to strengthen and expand ILD-related research in Japan. We actively collaborate with researchers from universities, research institutes, and industry to drive innovation in detector technology and advance the ILC project.
